Testing out hauling of the kayak before placing myself at startline

One of the important part of preparations is a pool training with kayaks! That's a very good place to practice different rescue operations, play through many situations or just having a fun with rollings. It helps to keep good balance in the water throughout of the winter when there is not so easy for someone from midland to find open water. Also it is good to practise things first in pool before doing same in outdoor. I do know some about kayaking but far away to consider myself as professional on this field. Therefore good tips have been very much appreciated. I am very thankful to Erik and Hillar who have teached me several things!

Üks olulisi treeninguid ettevalmistuse poole pealt on süstatreening basseinis! Seal on hea harjutada erinevaid päästetehnikaid, läbi mängida erinevaid olukordi või siis lihtsalt lõbustada end eskimo pööretega. Selline iganädalane sulistamine aitab hoida head vee tunnetust talv läbi. Iseäranis just mandri inimestel, kel külmade saabudes vabavee leidmine enam sugugi lihtne pole. Samuti on hea kõik õpitu eelnevalt basseinis läbi mängida, enne kui välja sama asja proovima minna. Eks ma tea ühtteist süstamise kohta, kuid kaugeltki ei saa lugeda end professionaaliks. Seetõttu on väärt näpunäited väga hinnatud. Olen väga tänulik Erikule ja Hillarile, kes on mulle mitmeid võtteid õpetanud!
